YOU & YOU

The name Uenso carries a teaching within it.

Uenso plays with the Buddhist Enso — the hand-drawn circle that represents wholeness, the universe, and the void. The circle that is complete and incomplete simultaneously. The symbol of coming home to what has always been.

It also echoes the Sanskrit phrase “Tat Tvam Asi” (तत् त्वम् असि) — Thou art That. In this ancient teaching, “Soh” (That) points to Consciousness itself, the totality of existence. The recognition that what you seek is not separate from you. Atman is Brahman. The personal soul is the universal soul.

So Uenso becomes You & Soh. You & That. You & Consciousness. Which is really: You & You.

THE FOUNDATION

This isn’t philosophy for its own sake — it’s the foundation of how I approach our time together.

You are not broken. You are not a problem to be solved. You are a system seeking its own coherence, its own remembering. My role is not to fix you, but to listen — to your body, your nervous system, your unspoken knowing — and create the conditions where your own intelligence can emerge.

The body holds everything. Tension that tells a story. Rhythms that reveal the nervous system’s state. Restrictions in the fascia that mirror restrictions in how we meet life. Symptoms are not problems — they are communications. They are the wisdom of a system trying to return to itself.

EMBODIMENT & CONSCIOUSNESS

Healing is not transcendence. It’s not about rising above the body or bypassing what’s difficult. It’s about descending into sensation, into what is, and finding that the body itself is the doorway.

Spiritual practice without the body is ungrounded. Bodywork without attention to consciousness is incomplete. The nervous system is the bridge. When we engage with the craniosacral system, with the fascia, with the energy body — whether hands-on or through guided energetic and somatic awareness — we’re not just addressing pain or dysfunction. We’re supporting the system to reorganize around presence, around what is true now.

The Enso teaches us: the circle is never perfect, and that’s the perfection. The path to growth is through the body you’re already in, through the life you’re already living. Not later. Not elsewhere. Here.

THE APPROACH

Sessions are not formulaic. I don’t follow a protocol. I follow you — the pace of your nervous system, the language of your tissue, what wants to emerge in this moment. Some sessions are primarily physical. Some open into emotional territory. Some touch the numinous. Most weave all three.

Whether we’re meeting in person or online, I’m listening for more than structure. I’m attuning to where the system is holding, where it’s fluid, where it’s ready to shift. I’m present to the places where the body and the psyche meet, where sensation becomes meaning, where the somatic and spiritual are one.

This asks something of you. It asks you to feel, to be present, to trust your own process. My role is to create a space safe enough for that to happen — and to meet whatever arises with steadiness, care, and a bit of play. Growth doesn’t have to be grim. It can be curious. It can even be fun.

COMING HOME

The Enso is drawn in one continuous stroke. It cannot be corrected. It is what it is.

Your journey is like this. Not about fixing or perfecting. About revealing what has always been present. About coming home to the body, to the breath, to the now. About recognizing that you and the path are not separate.

You & Soh. You & You.

This is the invitation.

Whether through craniosacral therapy, somatic experiencing, polarity therapy, or the building of internal skillset — the thread is the same. The body is intelligent. You are already whole. The process is to remember.
